Silica Sewing Thread 

Common applications for this sewing thread are used to sew filter bags by hand sewing, also used to sew weak alkali-resistant weave. It fulfill the need of sewing filter bags used in carbon black/ metallurgy/ cement industries .

Property:
Produced from an extremely pure silica base yarn  
Silica based materials provide burn-through protection from molten metal and weld splatter
Used at 1100 degree C continuously , molts above 1700 degree C
Highly flexible and virtually no shrinkage
High abrasion resistance and tensile strength
Different coating available, and normally coating materials is PTFE, PU, etc.

Continuous working temp.: 1100 degree C
Short time working temp.: 1400 degree C
Instant working temp.:1650 degree C

Roll weight around 500g/spool, 24rolls/ctn
 
Note: 
1. Coatings (-A is uncoated thread, and the others are coated.)
2. As this silica sewing thread is leached silica(leached silica have less tensile strength), when it's used in industrial high speed sewing machine require a transmission to limit the velocity less than 30 punches per minute to avoid to break the thread.
